Hi, Yesterday My Dad was playing around online land came across your video, "Vietnam F Troop 8th Cavalry Blue Ghost 1970" To his utter amazement, there he was in your video. His name is Bob (Robert) Brokenshire. He was the guy walking toward the camera with a towel on his waist. I don't hear much from him about Vietnam, so when he called and told me to check out the video, I was pretty surprised.Thank you so much for posting it. My brothers and sisters think it is pretty amazing to see it. Hope you are well and again thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day. Cary Seibel.
Blueghosts 69-70 Joe Brown did the copying from my 8mm movies. Great Job Joe. I was only able to get 6 min loaded up but I guess this will have to do for now. Enjoy everyone.

I am slowing down with my work on Blueghost documents for a while and Blueghost history books. Upon returning from my family reunion in Japan and having stomach pains I was tested and found my colon cancer has returned. Had another test and biopsy done. Results are not back yet, but started 1st chemo treatment on 23 Aug 11, 2nd treatment on 6 Sep 11. I will continue work as I can.
Hello, my name is Kurt Grockau, I was a grunt with C- 1/11 5TH Div. durning Lam Son 719. I'am trying to get info on the crash of a OH-6 on 2/11/1971 north of Lang Vei. A member of VHPA called me and said the Blueghosts lost a bird on that date. Could you have your historian or whoever keeps your unit history email me. I would like to work with them if they have info on this crash. Contact me at grockau@charter.net. Thanks Kurt
BLUEGHOST-I requested unit rosters from the NPRC working on them. I have copies of F Troop: Apr 69, Oct 69, Nov 70, Apr 71, Nov 71, Nov 72. Additionally I have several documents from Cpt Dantzler covering Ft. Knox to Vietnam on 7/17 Cav and F Trp. Once finished with all documents, I will upload them on my site on Blueghosts site under Blueghost Documents file.
BLUEGHOST-I am still searching for the orders making us F Troop 8th Cavalry, Special Orders Number 92. I now have paragraph 13, my orders and 19, Cpt Buckley's orders. I am still trying to reach the rest of the Blueghost to obtain the rest of the order.
BLUEGHOST-I will be unable to attend the Blueghost Reunion in Seattle, Washington this year. During the month of May 2011 I will be attending a Family Reunion in JAPAN. Family is all doing fine with what all has happened recently.
VA visits. Update on last visit of 11 Dec 10. Went to VA hospital in Charleston and was given an echogram of theheart. Haven't heard back about it. Got back from vacation Sat. the 8th and found out I missed appointment 3 Jan 11 for stress test on the heart with VA. Rescheduled for 12 Jan 11. I went to Charleston VA hospital on 12 Jan 11. They performed a stress test on my heart. They said it would be put with all the other papers for when they are ready to evaluate my heart for agent orange.
Went to the VA on the 24 Nov 2010 and it seems they had to many show up for the test and they said they had to reschedule me. Received notice in mail today I have been rescheduled for Saturday 11 Dec 2010. Maybe I will get it done this time.
I am going to VA Hospital in Charleston, SC tomorrow, 24 Nov 2010. This is to have my heart checked for possible disability with Agent Orange. Heart and two other diseases were just added to VA's Agent Orange list this year.
As entered on the other Blueghost site guessbook by Doc Anderson. On August 31, 2010 The VA published a new list f Diseases and Conditions Presumed, Associated with Agent Orange Exposure. Please go to the following link for information. http://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/agentorange/diseases.asp#veterans.
Once again I am asking. Does anybody (Ordinal Blueghost) out there have the rest of the Special Orders Number 92, para 13, Hqs, 14th Avn Bn, APO SF 96325, dated 1 April 1968. This order reassigns everybody from C Troop 7/17th Cav to F Troop 8th Cavalry offically forming F Troop. We need to find the whole order. It has only the enlisted on my orders. My orders show SP4 Albright down through me to PFC Jepperson. I am trying to obtain the rest of the order to provide proof that fellow Blueghost were in the unit and Vietnam to the VA. Thanks for all your help. Blueghost737.

As entered on the other Blueghost site guessbook by Doc Anderson. I was just talking with one of my infantry soldiers and was reminded that we need to follow through on our VA Benefits. I get caught up in helping our fellow Blue Ghosts and other Veterans get their Benefits and forget to have them follow through on everything they need. For instance: Military ID cards for 100% disabled Vetrans and the other privileges that go with it. Medical Insurance for their Wives. Life insurance with free premiums. The Golden Access Pass that gets them into National Parks and Monuments FREE. State Veterans Benefits. Don't be afraid to ask me or Wiggins or other Blue Ghosts that are Knowledgeable to help get your benefits.
I have people looking into a family of Higginbothams living around here in Georgia if they had any relatives who served in the Army in Vietnam. I have also requested records on C Trp 7/17th Cav 1967-68 and F Trp 8th Cav 1968-73 from the National Personnel Records Center and the National Archives.
